Joely Ramo was born and raised in South Florida. They are guided by their practice of Kabbalah and Buddhism. Joely received her diploma from NOVA Southeastern and their Bachelors in Fine Art with a minor in Printmaking and Critical theory from Maryland Institute College of Art. In their highschool education she received the Future Filmmaker and Visual Creator Award from NOVA, as well as the Short Story Writer Award from Broward County. They worked as an art teacher’s assistant for Poppet Project and worked as an intern for VISTA productions. In Joely's college education she had a solo show at EveryMan Theater Baltimore, exhibited works in over 10 shows, and has been working for over two years as a Project Assistant and Manager for Goblies (a kids toy company). In October 2024, Joely became a published writer. their poem, “Something So Elementary” was published by the Academy of Heart and Mind.
