Annissa Slusher is an American oil painter whose work explores wonder, protection, and the quiet complexity of the natural world. She earned a B.A. in Design from Duke University and has continued her artistic training through the Milan Art Institute. Her current Guardians series presents fruits, vegetables, and other natural forms with the presence and intimacy of portraiture, drawing attention to the seeds, structures, and hidden potential they protect. Slusher’s work has been recognized in international juried exhibitions, and she currently lives and paints in County Cork, Ireland.
