Peter VanderPoel is an architect/educator in Washington, DC where he maintains a small residential architecture practice and teaches architectural design studio at a local university. His pursuits in art include oil panting, intaglio, monotype and linocut printing, pastel and cartooning. He also enjoys watercolor and writing about aesthetics and brain function. He currently lives on a sailboat in Washington DC
