By combining painting and sculpture, I create artwork that examines the human form through thermal-heat imaging and x-ray patterns, using color to embody emotions, actions, and states of being. These patterns often reflect my own physicality and reveal the personal and conceptual layers of my inner world. I aim to create pieces that resonate on a deeply personal level, encouraging each viewer to experience and interpret the work through their unique perspective. This technique allows me to bridge the universal and the personal, as each viewer’s distinct lens reshapes the associations and meanings within my work. Through these figures and their vivid color patterns, I intend not only to express my own perceptions but to evoke in others a sense of self-reflection. The interplay of colors, forms, and patterns creates space for viewers to connect with the art and develop their narratives around it. This interaction lies at the heart of my practice- a desire to spark introspection, relatability, and dialogue within the visual experience.
