Mixed Afro-Indigenous (Wabanaki descent) Professional Designer and Artist, Traditional Medicine Practitioner, and disabled Air Force Combat Veteran. My work is steeped in my ancestral Indigenous traditions and each piece is intentionally created with Good Medicine. I’ve exhibited and sold my art at shows and galleries around the Greater Seattle area since 2015, and love being able to offer beautiful, lasting pieces in many forms. My mediums include oil, watercolor, and mixed media paintings, drawings, and quillwork jewelry. My Indigenous Elders of my Wabanaki blood lineage (Bear Clan) have honored me in learning, carrying forward, preserving, and sharing our unique ancestral style of quill earrings, as well as our traditions and history. As a 5th generation artist, I’m deeply grateful for the trust placed in me to design new bead patterns, styles, and my signature finish. My initial pieces are dedicated to my Elder Shadowhawke and our Grandma Tomiki Bear.
