Her artistic sensibility is molded by the blanket of her undefined heritage, navigating the dualities of connection and alienation. The adversities of mental illness, trauma, and addiction in her early life have fueled her creative journey, transforming personal strife into her artistic practice. Lunsford-Chacon honed her craft at the Glassell School of Art and Houston Baptist University's painting program, where she was profoundly influenced by her mentor, Michael Roque Collins.
