Hello, My name is Ashley Allen. I am a working artist/mother. My go-to medium is Acrylic paint, but I am versatile in many mediums. A few of them are, Watercolor paint, print-making, fiber-arts, and ceramics. I have been an artist for 10+ years. I attended Kennedy-King College, and graduated with my Associates in Arts. Right after I attended Chicago State University, and graduated with my Bachelors in Studio Arts. I am currently on the path to attended graduate school. Career wise, I am a 4th grade afterschool teacher at a non-for-profit called By The Hands Club for Kids. I've been working there for 3 years now. I've learned so much about education when it comes to young students. I also learned so much administration skills as well. After 2020 I took a hiatus from creating, in order to stay afloat in this ever changing world. Now, I am eager to get back out there in the art world. I am ready to spread my colorfully painted wings all over the Midwest and then the World.
