Born in a small town in Upstate NY, Kari Souders has been an abstract painter for over 40 years. She received her BFA from Syracuse University and MFA from the University of Maryland on a full teaching scholarship. Kari has taught as an adjunct teacher at institutions such as Drexel University, Trenton State College and Hussian College. Her work has been exhibited and is in public and private collections around the country.
