Bio: Zepure was born in the first year of this millennium, in the country of Armenia. They moved to Chicago in 2018, to pursue an education in Fine Arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2020, at the height of the Covid pandemic, their country was plunged into a fight for survival. This pushed Zepure to instead pursue art therapy as a means of helping those who have gone through the intense trauma of war. Their current practice exists largely within this context. They also just like flowers.
