For many years, I battled with chronic illness, and art became a big part of my healing process as doctors instructed me to use painting as a form of recovery. My illness and miraculous recovery drew me to the world of the supernatural. Today, my work reflects the way I see life with all of its colour and beauty. The overriding theme is of man being lost in the insanity of life, only to find redemption and salvation. Man is searching for meaning, searching for hope, searching for love, searching for significance in his perpetual state of confusion. My art is appreciated for its unique and fresh approach to abstract, with its underlying interpretations of spirituality and perception of a higher power. It has the ability to touch one’s heart and soul as it translates significant meaning and sovereignty straight from the canvas. My vision is to give the viewer a sense of joy and peace in a world that is so full of fear.
