Nikki is a self-taught artist working in watercolor, pen & ink and assemblage collages. She's also a playwright who's plays have been produced throughout the U.S & Canada, Australia, Botswana, the Canary Islands, the Channel Islands. England, India, Romania, South Africa, and Thailand. And has also labored in TV as a Casting Director and in Theatre as a Stage Manager and Lighting Designer. Having a lifelong love of archaeology, she's been privileged to work on digs in Peru, Thailand and Arizona. And, on a project researching 2nd century AD Herbals in the rare book department at the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma, and illustrating mole beetles and katydids for the Smithsonian, in DC. Nikki’s volunteered on wildlife conservancies in Kenya and Namibia to help save the endangered cheetahs and Grevy’s zebras, and is continuing that effort through her artwork and her writings.
