Studio Artist, teacher and illustrator, Amanda Keller-Ades is a graduate of Herron School of Art and Design, and a native of Remington, Indiana. Inspired by animals and 80’s movies as a child, Amanda continues to illustrate the same quirky and playfulness she drew as a kid. “I love bright colors and showing personalities in animals. All art resonates to each person differently. At some point everyone needs a T-Rex dancing or an armadillo at a birthday party, right?” Among numerous solo and group shows, museum residencies, guest speaking engagements, children's books and teaching illustration classes, she was chosen as Indiana magazine- Nuvos 2014-2016 Artist of the Year.
