Vera Pomerantseva immigrated in the United States in 2001, and currently resides in Princeton, NJ. Vera predominantly works with acrylic and mixed media. Painting have always been a passion of hers, but in 2010 after getting into a minor car accident she became really serious about it. Visual images for her is the way to express feelings and emotions. Sometimes it is the best way, but sometimes it is the only way. Over the last years Vera Pomerantseva has participated in number of competitions and exhibitions in the greater NY area. They include The Greenpoint Gallery in NYC, Exhibitions in Princeton, Plainsboro and Clifton, NJ. She was awarded with the 2nd place in West Windsor Art College competition.
