Tarah Woodworth (b. 1993 Atlanta, GA) is a Chicago based artist and mother of two. She works primarily in oil, painting detailed landscapes which typically incorporate the figure. Her work explores our relationships with the natural world, memory, motherhood and intergenerational trauma. As an artist Tarah hopes to inspire viewers to reflect on how their lives are impacted by the intersection of their own memories, relationships with family and nature and the politics of environmental justice and reproductive rights.
