Nicki Allen is non-binary, Filipino-American, self-taught artist born and based in Ashburn, VA. They utilize mixed-media techniques that portray the darker themes of humanity as they relate to the queer experience. This year they have focused on digital surrealism pieces that feature macabre imagery exploring the relationship between beauty and horror. They hope to invoke this examination and curiosity in their audience.
