Sara Franco is a first-generation Mexican American contemporary artist. Being self-taught, she developed her personal style by utilizing multiple mediums such as acrylic paint, colored pencils, graphite, pen, and ink. Due to her childhood hardships, Sara used art as a form of therapy. She was recognized for her skills and chosen to showcase her Día de los Muertos art piece, at the PHX ART museum in 2019. Vulnerability is the inspiration behind her bright colored pieces. She displays her mind and soul throughout her work.
