Anna Thomason is a classical trained musician and self-taught painter. She was born in July of 1992 in South Carolina, where she lived until the age of 18. She Moved to Bloomington, Indiana in 2010 to attend the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. While studying there she began to explore the realms of painting as a means of release from the rigors of music school. After completion of her degree in music performance, painting became the forefront of her creative expression and she has been developing her craft since. Her mediums include oil, acrylic, watercolor and gouche. She has also branched out to woodburning and digital media as well. Currently she Lives and works in Illinois as a music instructor and artist.
