Filipino artist & designer Napoleon M. Haboc is an emerging contemporary artist in Dongguan City, Guangdong, China. He was an active artist in the Philippines in the '90s. Still, He was interrupted by his Design profession abroad for less than two decades when a Chinese manufacturer hired him in Guangdong, China, in 2003. In 2018, he decided to revive his art passion. He found his two new mediums and voice through multi-colored textured acrylic house paint on a mat board and a monochromatic crosshatched bamboo fine debris art craft. Most of his artistic inspirations are from his experiences and personal observation worldwide. Thus, global issues, including the ongoing climate change issues, pandemics, war, and other worldwide awareness, all hardships he'd encountered, and people who have had a substantial impact on his life became a part of his art that tells a story with a message. Hence, he focused on the reality of life as the central theme of most of his art.
