Lindsay-Ann Chilcott is an interdisciplinary artist from Niagara Falls, Ontario. Specializing in surrealism, Lindsay’s work is often inspired by themes of consumerism, materialism, and popular culture. Lindsay is interested in exploring how artists can develop ways of mitigating society’s consumption levels, while seeking ways to influence the contemporary discourse on upcycling. Through this, she confronts Earth’s pollution crisis. By 2025, Lindsay intends to work solely with sustainable materials to help reduce landfill waste and negative environmental impacts. While being an active volunteer in her community, Lindsay has taught many art classes throughout the region, including classes at Forestview Public School and Brock University. She also has experience working for the Niagara Falls Art Gallery, and RiverBrink Art Museum in Queenston, Ontario.
