Artist Biography Until her early 30’s Traci thought she was not creative; then she learned how to crochet. This seemingly simple thing provided the fuse for her creativity and curiosity. Every new discovery created a new curiosity. Traci is a mixed media fiber artist who is proficient in a wide variety of arts such as knitting, dyeing, spinning yarn, tapestry weaving, abstract painting and mixed media. With her Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications, she ties all these threads together with a love of the interplay of color and texture. Traci's home is on the NorthCoast of Ohio where Mother Nature regularly pulls her out of any creative slump by presenting her with three or four seasons in one day.
