Solo Exhibitions Official Rules & Guidelines

The UPWARD gallery offers artists from around the world the opportunity to present their works in a solo exhibition format.

General information

A solo exhibition can be presented in two variants of placement: on the gallery's website and in a printed magazine UPWARD's Quarterly
The page of the solo exhibition on the gallery's website includes up to 12 works and information about the artist (biography, achievements, contacts, etc.). Each work submitted is accompanied by information about the work: medium, dimensions, cost, description, and contacts for buyers. The information presented by the artist is edited by the gallery editors.
The printed version of the solo exhibition takes up 4 magazine pages (2 spreads), its content is discussed separately with each artist.

The gallery’s experts make a preliminary selection of the candidates for the personal exhibition based on the submitted applications.
Placing a personal exhibition does not imply creating an artist’s account on the gallery’s website.

Requirements to the artists:
Age from 18 years, readiness to provide for familiarization their works in the field of visual art and information about themselves.

All rights to artistic works remain with the artist - the author of the work. In case of claims to the authorship of works by third parties, the gallery reserves the right to remove these works from publication on the site for the duration of the proceedings.

Our gallery does not offer the opportunity to buy works directly on the gallery's website. We only provide an opportunity for artists to place information about their works on our website and printed magazine.
