How did you get started as an artist?
I have always had a passion for painting, but I made my living as a teacher and designer. After being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease three years ago, I turned to painting as a way to forget their illness and pain. I shared my thoughts on difficult topics like war, climate, and famine through my artworks. This helped me feel a little lighter inside. My sick arm is loaded differently, but I can manage it well.
What themes does your work involve?
My topics are diverse, just like life. I paint landscapes, flowers, and people, often blending abstract and realistic elements.
What is your source of inspiration?
Experimenting with different materials can be exciting. The hardware store is a great source of inspiration for me.
Do you have any artistic goals for the future that you would like to share?
In the future, I hope to work for an extended period and win more prizes. To achieve this, I will conduct more intensive preparatory work. I want to inspire others to live a fulfilling life despite any challenges they may face. It brings me great joy to see my art enthusiasts appreciate my paintings, and I hope they continue to do so for a long time.
