Long Phi Tran (b. 1989) is a Vietnamese conceptual photographer and ink painter based in Ho Chi Minh City. Working across photography and monochrome ink, he develops a distinctive visual language rooted in minimalism, symbolism, and disciplined composition. His practice centers on transforming ordinary objects and subtle gestures into layered metaphors that explore identity, power, fragility, silence, and the human condition.
As a conceptual photographer, Long is known for his refined black-and-white works that balance clarity with ambiguity, inviting viewers into quiet yet thought-provoking spaces. In parallel, his ink paintings reflect a deep sensitivity to light, void, and movement, where negative space becomes as meaningful as form.
