My career path has not been a straight line. I have worked as an artist, photographer, graphic designer, educator, and higher education administrator. I have an EdD in Educational Leadership from Argosy University, Phoenix, AZ, an MFA in Fine Arts (Photography) from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, and a BFA in Graphic Design from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL. As a graphic designer/artist, I helped to design three different museums (Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Arizona Science Center, and Arizona Historical Museum), won design awards, and exhibited my artwork (paintings and photographs).
