My interest in drawing and painting started as a child. I am mostly self taught, but I also have had several mentors who influenced my work. I live on a ranch in a remote valley in Central California where my husband and I train horses and raise cattle. My love of the western lifestyle is a great influence in my subject matter and color palettes. The landscapes, animals and people of the west are my inspiration.
