Maria Elias is a Mexican American artist based in northern Virginia. She focuses on her culture, identity, and mental illness to raise awareness for her latine community and bipolar disorder. To share these ideas with others, she creates surreal saturated works of art full of memories and imagery inspired by her childhood home.
